LCTV, LCCC & Spectrum Cable announce 2017 scholarship winners

Lockport Community Television, along with the Lockport Community Cable Commission and Spectrum Cable, announce this year's scholarship recipients.
Winners of this year's Anjeannte Briones scholarships for outstanding LCTV youth volunteers went to Mason Russo, Allison Cooper and Zachary Meal, who are Lockport High School and Starpoint High School seniors looking to pursue a career in media and film.
The Gaskill/Roeseler community service award to outstanding students who volunteered their time to the community went to Dominique Caldwell, Edward Reeb and Madison Keleher from Lockport High School and Royalton-Hartland High School.
For students entering the communications field, there were four recipients of the Thomas Riley Memorial Scholarship: Jessica Oates, Julia Votour, Gena Rising and Allyson Sawyer.
Applications for 2018 will be available this fall at LCTV, online at www.lctv.net, by calling 716-434-1733 or via each student's high school guidance department.
