Niagara River Greenway Commission to meet July 18

The Niagara River Greenway Commission will meet on Tuesday, July 18, to determine the consistency of the 55th round of projects. The meeting will take place at 3 p.m. at the Clubhouse of Beaver Island State Park, 2136 W. Oakfield Road, Grand Island.
 
The executive committee meeting will precede the general meeting at 2 p.m.
 
There are three projects under consideration:
  • Morgan Lewis bust project, Lewiston
  • Town Square at Veterans' Memorial Park, Niagara
  • Discover Niagara shuttle project, Lewiston
 
Public comment on these projects will be accepted through July 5. The project proposals are available at www.niagaragreenway.org. Comments may be submitted to [email protected] or by hard copy to the commission at 3160 DeVeaux Woods Drive, Niagara Falls.
 
The Niagara River Greenway Commission is a public benefit corporation established by Chapter 460 of the laws of 2004, and charged with the planning and development of a greenway of interconnected parks, river access points and waterfront trails along the Niagara River from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario at the site of the historic Fort Niagara.
