All University at Buffalo classes and activities scheduled for tomorrow, March 14, are cancelled due to severe weather conditions forecast for the region.

According to a mandate from the governor's office of employee relations, all nonessential UB employees do not have to report to work on Tuesday, and do not need to charge accruals for such absence, due to an extreme winter storm that is expected to bring heavy snowfall and high winds throughout New York state tonight into tomorrow.

Essential employees should report to work. Please use caution when traveling to and from campus. For information about UB policy on essential and nonessential employees, go to http://emergency.buffalo.edu/emergency-procedures/severe-weather/for-employees.html.

Updates and additional information about changes in university schedule and operations will be posted at http://emergency.buffalo.edu.
