On Friday, Simon Construction Co. moved the former "Bucket of Blood," located at 65 Center St., to a new base just south of the previous spot.
The Village of Lewiston structure was deteriorating to the point that a new foundation was necessary. Simon Construction is actually creating a new base from underneath the building to better lineup with the historic property.
65 Center St., which is owned by Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours, will be fixed up and used for tour bus operators and tourists not participating on the jet boat ride. The spot where the building was formerly located will be paved and turned into a parking lot. (photos by Joshua Maloni)
