Seeds Family Worship provides online children's service, receiving huge response

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, churches and families have been looking for ways to have meaningful family time at home around God's word. In light of this, Seeds Family Worship launched a weekly online children's service on its Facebook page, and the services have been watched more than 22,000 times in the past two weeks.

On Friday morning, Gov. Andrew Cuomo pledged to sign an executive order wherein the state can take ventilators and personal protective equipment from upstate New York hospitals and reallocate them to downstate medical facilities. With a higher number of positive COVID-19 cases in the five boroughs, Cuomo said this is where the equipment is needed most right now.

Eligible COVID-19 patients at Buffalo General Medical Center and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital will begin participating in a number of FDA-approved experimental therapy options as early as this week. These therapies include a clinical trial of the arthritis medication, sarilumab; convalescent plasma infusions for critically ill patients as a way of introducing antibodies from individuals that have fully recovered from COVID-19; and the use of a promising antiviral medication, Remdesivir.
