On Sept. 28, at approximately 22:27 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office communications center received a radio transmission from Deputy Kenny, an off-duty Niagara County Sheriff's Office deputy, reporting a motor vehicle accident with serious injury at the intersection of Lockport-Cambria Townline Road and Upper Mountain Road in the Town of Cambria.

Federal student loan interest accrual resumed in September and payments will be due this month.
