Gov. Kathy Hochul on Monday announced the City University of New York Board of Trustees voted to permanently end a policy that banned CUNY colleges from releasing official transcripts and enrollment verification to students and graduates who owed the university unpaid tuition balances and fees. The action follows CUNY's August 2021 suspension of this policy.

Highway and bridge projects have been shortchanged because the state continues to use money in the Dedicated Highway and Bridge Trust Fund (DHBTF) to pay down debt from past projects and cover the operating costs for state agencies, according to a report by New York State Comptroller Thomas P. Houghton College and Aquiline Drones announced a five-year partnership to offer online, instructor-guided drone pilot training to current and future students. Houghton is the first four-year educational institution in New York to add an Aquiline Drones pilot course to its curriculum. The training will prepare students to take the exam required to become a licensed drone pilot under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
