Tickets are on sale for the Niagara Wine Trail's "Wine & Charcuterie" weekend food sampling and wine tasting event, set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, June 3, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 4. Guests will pair New York state crafted Cabot Creamery cheese and other charcuterie items with three tastes of wine at each participating winery along the trail.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced 23-year-old Lewis A. Keys of Buffalo pleaded guilty yesterday afternoon before State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek to one count of manslaughter in the first degree (class "B" violent felony). The defendant pleaded guilty, as charged, to the only count in the indictment against him.
