Last Sunday, my wife and I were passing by the Wilson State Park launch ramp, and we saw a small boat coming into the ramp. We stopped and watched. When it got closer, we could see it was all equipped with some extravagant fishing equipment, and three young men, whom we called the "Three Musketeers."

The Gorges Classic Soccer Tournament, a men's open, with brackets for ages 30, 40 and over 50, is returning to the Niagara Falls area, Friday through Sunday, May 6-8, with games at Fort Niagara and at Lewiston-Porter High School in Youngstown.

The Host Communities Standing Committee could not reach consensus Wednesday on the Town of Lewiston's request for $165,000 to help fund Artpark & Company's interactive children and family festivals and programming. The New York Power Authority cast the lone "No" vote, thus making the required unanimous approval impossible.
