Joining nearly 1,500 Western New Yorkers of all ages, we ended a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in spectacular fashion by participating in the weekly Slow Roll Buffalo 10-mile bike tour of city neighborhoods. Held each Monday, these free rides are open to everyone of all ages and all skill levels who are riding every type of bicycle.

My wife, Debbie, is truly an amazing person. I am sure every married man can say that and, in each case, it is probably true. What simply astounds me about Debbie is her ability to juggle so many extremely important balls in the air without dropping any and without showing any signs of stress.

The Ride For Roswell, the single largest fundraising event in Western New York, and North America's largest single-day cycling fundraiser, concluded its 20th year this past weekend by raising a total of $4.5 million for cancer research and patient-care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
