Olde Sanborn Days is a team effort

Ortt announces $500,000 for Niagara Falls Air Base

State Sen. Rob Ortt today announced $500,000 in state funding to establish an emergency management hub at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. Ortt secured the funds in the 2015-16 state budget (Empire State Development Corp., Aid to Localities, S. 2003-C) to help base retention efforts for NFARS.

Rob Ortt and Assemblyman Robin Schimminger joined other local officials and members of the community for a ceremony Monday rededicating the Frederick B. Durkee Memorial Bridge, which is the only access to Tonawanda Island from River Road in the City of North Tonawanda.
