On Thursday, March 7, 2024, at approximately 4:22pm, Town of Niagara Police responded to the 3000 block of Rhode Island Avenue, on a report of an unresponsive male subject lying in a field. Responding officers found a male subject believed to be in 50s deceased in the field.

I view these types of speeches - whether it's the president delivering the State of the Union, the governor giving a State of the State, or a local official talking about their county or city - as kind of a status report on how things are going. On Monday at 2:29 a.m., Niagara County emergency communications received a 911 call stating a structure, located at 2521 Niagara Falls Blvd., had flames coming from the exterior of the residence. Responding police and volunteer fire units arrived on scene and observed that the exterior of the home was, in fact, engulfed in flames.

The Niagara County Department of Health nursing division, in collaboration with the Niagara County Office for the Aging, is offering a free diabetes prevention program. This is a 16-week program for people who are at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes. Classes are scheduled in 16 consecutive weekly sessions, then bimonthly for three months and once a month for five months.
