The Hospice and Palliative Care Group (HPCG) board of directors has announced President and CEO John Lomeo will step down effective July 31.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced the birth of Niagara County's first baby of 2024. Newborn Ella Jane Williams arrived at 12:56 p.m. Jan. 2, measuring 19 inches and weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. The healthy baby is the daughter of Lindsey Tompkins and Ricky Williams of Niagara Falls.

Vortex VR holds official grand-opening celebration

Vortex VR Arcade, located on the third floor of the One Niagara Welcome Center at 360 Rainbow Blvd., held its grand opening Sunday with a Halloween party. As part of the opening ceremony, Mayor Robert Restaino cut the ribbon, officially opening the facility.
