Last Sunday, my wife and I were passing by the Wilson State Park launch ramp, and we saw a small boat coming into the ramp. We stopped and watched. When it got closer, we could see it was all equipped with some extravagant fishing equipment, and three young men, whom we called the "Three Musketeers."

Douglas A. Janese Sr., 62, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Janese was serving as highway superintendent for the Town of Lewiston, a position he held for the past six years.

Niagara University announced today that an independent investigation into allegations of Title IX violations has concluded. The inquiry, conducted by the Buffalo law firm Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria LLP, found the university and its personnel fully complied with the law in all matters and provided support, counsel and resources where appropriate.
