Lew-Port Board OKs budget plan

The Lewiston-Porter Board of Education approved the 2016-17 $43.091 million budget on Tuesday, before a short (but lively!) work session focused on policy review.
Village of Lewiston: No increase in taxes; Planning Board sends variances to ZBA

Following a half-dozen work sessions, the Village of Lewiston Board of Trustees is poised to present to the public a 2016-17 budget with no tax increase. The tax rate is set to remain at $7.38 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. The sewer rate ($4.64 per 100 cubic feet) and the water rate ($3.54 per 100 cubic feet) also are expected to remain the same.

When it got closer, we could see it was all equipped with some extravagant fishing equipment, and three young men, whom we called the "Three Musketeers."
