Lewiston Garden Club meeting

The next meeting of the Lewiston Garden Club is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, in the Lewiston Library Community Room. After a brief business meeting, the speaker will be Carol Ann Harlos, who will talk about "Perennial plants are not perennials."

Sheeran elected president-elect of New York State Magistrates Association

Mount St. Mary's Hospital (MSMH) announced its Center for Sports Medicine & Physical Rehabilitation, now located at 1 Columba Drive No. 5 in Niagara Falls, will be moving on Jan. 15. The new department will relocate to the campus of Mount St. Mary's Hospital, 5300 Military Road, Lewiston, with the services located at the hospital's north lobby entrance.

LPD finds deceased person on university campus

On Dec. 19 at 1:45 p.m., the Lewiston Police Department was dispatched to Niagara University for an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, patrols found a female deceased from apparent weather-related conditions.
