'Big R': Ransomville Speedway registration meeting set for Feb. 3

Ransomville Speedway will be hosting a drivers registration meeting for both the Friday night stock car program and Thursday night go-kart program on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Ransomville Firehall, 2521 Youngstown-Lockport Road.
Village of Lewiston rescinds eclipse street closing, hears from fire co. volunteer about need for members

The Village of Lewiston Board voted Tuesday to rescind prior approval given to the Historical Association of Lewiston to close Center Street on April 8 for an eclipse viewing event. Trustees Tina Coppins and Dan Gibson voted "no," preferring the roadway remain available to HAL for reenactment programming that had been billed, "The Eclipse: A Step Back in Time."
Rotary welcomes regional, international guests

Grammy Award-nominated, multi-Platinum-selling band Bush will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an extensive North American headline tour: "Bush - Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour." The trek will kick off on July 26 in Bend, Oregon, and include a show at the Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater in Lewiston on Aug. 17. Jerry Cantrell and Candlebox will be the special guests on all dates.

LPD finds deceased person on university campus
