Niagara County: Jastrzemski, Wydysh to host 'Wags, Whiskers & Wine' event with WNY Food 4 Paws

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski and Legislature Chairwoman Becky Wydysh are teaming up to host a fundraiser called "Wags, Whiskers & Wine" to support the work of WNY Food 4 Paws, a nonprofit that provides pet food and supplies to local pantries to help families experiencing financial hardship be able provide for their pets.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced 23-year-old Lewis A. Keys of Buffalo pleaded guilty yesterday afternoon before State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek to one count of manslaughter in the first degree (class "B" violent felony). The defendant pleaded guilty, as charged, to the only count in the indictment against him.
