The Erie County Legislature will decide Jan. 21 whether or not to approve the applications of approximately 40 Grand Island farmers to be part of the Amherst Agricultural District. Tops Friendly Markets, in partnership with Nestle Purina PetCare Company, presented a $10,000 donation to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Serving Erie County on Wednesday.
