The Lewiston Community Lions recently hosted a bowling event at the Lewiston Event Center for the Niagara Falls High School special needs students. The teens were able to take a field trip from school, and meet the Lewiston Lions for an afternoon of bowling, pizza, pop and laughter.

Ohana100, a private foundation that promotes literacy throughout local communities, is assisting with the 2016 Mount St. Mary's Hospital "Mommy & Baby Expo." The foundation's "GO! READ Project" includes reading to children and giving them free new books, which are theirs to keep.
