Eight lucky Sidway Elementary School students had a unique ride to school last Thursday. Despite the heavy winds, firefighters and students arrived to school in style as part of the Ride to School in a Fire Truck contest.

High school sports have always been an outlet for young adults to develop a love and appreciation for the games. Since Title V originated, girls sports have received equal funding and opportunities. However, some high school sports do not generate enough interest to field a female team. This leaves student athletes - like Madeline Catalano - to try out for a boys team.
