New 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' exhibit at History Center of Niagara

The History Center of Niagara has a brand-new exhibit on display on the first floor of its Outwater Building, 215 Niagara St, Lockport. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, this exhibition, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," shows the rich history of baseball and the PONY League (Pennsylvania, Ontario and New York) all throughout Niagara County.

The 2020 summer tourism season has begun in Niagara County, with Western New York now into phase four of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's "New York Forward" reopening process.
Old Fort Niagara reopening

Old Fort Niagara will reopen to visitors this Friday, July 3, following its 15-week closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Daily hours of operation have been shortened slightly, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow for extra cleaning before and after hours. Hourly musket and living-history demonstrations and seasonal food service will resume following proper health and social-distancing guidelines.
