Gov. Kathy Hochul on Tuesday announced the start of construction on a $13 million outdoor entertainment pavilion on Buffalo's Outer Harbor. The project, her team said, will renovate the long-abandoned Terminal B warehouse into an events center that utilizes existing parking and reclaims seven acres of contaminated property to open additional public access with scenic new lake views.

Six Flags Darien Lake announced an all-new holiday tradition, the "Magic of Lights" drive-thru experience. The theme park will be all decked out and shining bright from Nov. 19 through Jan. 2, 2022. Tremendous work has taken place inside - out of view from the general public - with great expectations in place for what might be when The Chapel reopens the site in the near future.

Artpark & Company awarded for interactive wayfinding system

This was done to acknowledge a $50,000 award to create a comprehensive wayfinding system and incorporate public Wi-Fi along Artpark's pathways. Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday announced the beginning of construction for a new, $46 million state-of-the-art visitor center in Niagara Falls State Park. The new facility, her team said, "will be a gateway to adventure along the Niagara River Corridor, greatly improving the visitor experience, complementing nature, and increasing the length of visits within the park in all four seasons. Mayor Robert Restaino invited stakeholders in the Niagara Falls community to discuss plans for a new, multifaceted year-round event campus. Thursday afternoon at City Hall, Restaino, alongside his partners at CJS Architects, presented initial renderings of everything the facility has to offer both tourists and residents of Niagara Falls. This is one of seven stakeholder meetings in the Niagara Falls community.
