The wing sauce is now available exclusively at Wegmans, the "Official Tailgating Headquarters of the Buffalo Bills." Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday signed legislation (S.6353-A/A.7733) that will allow restaurants to utilize municipal spaces like sidewalks and streets for outdoor dining. First granted under an executive order, this law allows restaurants to continue using these public spaces for another year as they recover from the economic devastation brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Michael Hibbard's original Gallo restaurant site recently reopened as Gallo Loco, serving almost a dozen different types of taco (torta or bowl), plus fajitas, quesadillas, queso nachos and salads. The interior design features an assortment of bright colors - reds, greens and oranges, among them - as well as the signature carved-metal Gallo roosters.

The smell of lilacs in the backyard. Muddy knees and properly exhausted from playing outside, only to be rewarded with a freshly baked rhubarb dessert. This was spring at my grandparent's house in Niagara County. While my grandmother is now 97 years old, and she isn't baking like she used to, the younger generation is taking over in the kitchen.
