'Inside the Dish: Food for Thought' topic of Catholic Health Facebook Live 'Way to Wellness' event

In preparation for National Stroke Awareness Month in May, Catholic Health is hosting a special Facebook Live "Way to Wellness" event: "Inside the Dish: Food for Thought." The event will run from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, and feature Lee Guterman, M.D., Ph.D., medical director of neuroscience services at Catholic Health and endovascular neurosurgeon at the Mercy Hospital Comprehensive Stroke Center; and celebrity chef Darian Bryan.

Tops Friendly Markets raised $13,365 as a result of its gingerbread house campaign for Oishei Children's Hospital. The campaign, which kicked off in early November, welcomed families to purchase a gingerbread house kit at locations throughout the region, with a portion of the proceeds being donated back to the hospital. The kits came complete with gingerbread to build a house, plus sweet candy decorations and icing.
