Kathy Hochul on Friday signed legislation, her team said, to "make it easier for New Yorkers to understand proposed constitutional amendments and other questions put to voters on ballots in New York state. Under this legislation, proposed amendments and other ballot measures must be explained in plain and clear language that allows voters to understand the practical impact of adopting or rejecting the measure they are being asked to vote on."

Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers presented $1,500 in funding to scouting programs in Youngstown on Oct. 16 during an awards presentation to the Scouts, leaders and parents at the Youngstown Presbyterian Church. $10M available through round 1 of state's Regional School Food Infrastructure Grant program

As part of Farm-to-School Month, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced $10 million is available through round 1 of New York's Regional School Food Infrastructure Grant. The program will support projects in schools that improve meal preparation and distribution for kindergarten through grade 12 students.
