Nursery school celebrates 50 years

The Village of Lewiston has been afforded the opportunity to witness a milestone in education. The First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston is celebrating not only the 200th anniversary of the birth of the oldest church in the village, but also the 50th anniversary of its nursery school/pre-K.

Girl Scouts of Western New York recently announced North Tonawanda Girl Scout Siana Jacobs is a 2017 Gold Award recipient. The Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouts. Jacobs' earned the award for a project where she organized a clothing drive and created personal hygiene kits for people in Nicaragua.
