Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has launched registration for the fourth-annual IceCycle fundraising event, presented by West Herr Automotive Group. The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. (ECHDC) board of directors met Monday and voted to approve two contract extensions that will support plans to celebrate, in 2025, the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal in Buffalo, "the birthplace of this historic and game-changing waterway."

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced $479 million in grants for critical water infrastructure projects, including the first funding awarded through the $4.2 billion Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act of 2022, which was passed by voters after Hochul pushed to increase the total amount by $1 billion upon taking office.
