Attorney General James addresses 'mental health crisis in Western New York' in public hearing

New York Attorney General Letitia James held a public hearing on mental health care in Western New York. Dozens of impacted individuals, health care providers, elected officials, and community members provided testimony on their challenges accessing and providing mental health care and services.
Ukrainian National Orchestra to perform at Houghton University

Houghton University will host the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine for a concert on the Western New York campus on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The orchestra is led by principal conductor Theodore Kuchar, who joined the faculty of Houghton's Greatbatch School of Music in fall of 2022 as the professor of orchestral conducting.

It is lifted for all other towns as of 7 AM. The Thruway and NYS route are still closed."
