Niagara Gospel Mission offered seminar for veterans

On Wednesday, the Niagara Gospel Mission invited local government leaders, veterans organizations, community groups, pastors, law enforcement and military members to take place in its first symposium on homelessness, with an emphasis on the homeless veterans in Niagara Falls, and the difficulties transitioning out of the military.
NCSO looking for person of interest in ATV thefts

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office criminal investigation bureau is attempting to identify this individual, who may have been involved in the theft of two ATVs from the Ransomville area in early November.
New York State Parks announces annual employee awards

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has announced its annual employee awards, which recognize outstanding work on behalf of the New York state park and historic site system. The awards included the L.L. Huttleston Executive Award, the agency's highest honor, given to a senior manager; the first Waletzky Award for Environmental Stewardship; and the agency's top peer recognition, the Maple Leaf Award.

The event comprises a select group of choruses and a couple of solos. The annual holiday mixer of the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, at Frankie Primos 39 North, located on Webster Street in North Tonawanda. This year's theme, "A Christmas Story," is special, as the original movie celebrates its 25th year anniversary with a sequel to air this month on HBO MAX. The event will host Ian Petrella (who played Randy in the original move) and feature the original fire truck from the movie.
