Mount St. Mary's Hospital celebrates Black History Month

Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center will hold a special ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, as part of its Black History Month celebration. The event will be held in the hospital cafeteria.

He taught us so much in his life that sadly was cut too short last week while he was surrounded by his loving family at Hospice House. He will, however, continue to inspire us to believe in ourselves every day.

Cecconi brings home gold with Team USA

Joseph Cecconi, a native of Youngstown, competed on Team USA for the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Hockey Tournament in Montreal. He was one of 23 players from around the U.S. who competed, and brought home the gold by defeating Team Canada in a final 5-4 shootout victory on Jan. 5.
