Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers presented $1,500 in funding to scouting programs in Youngstown on Oct. 16 during an awards presentation to the Scouts, leaders and parents at the Youngstown Presbyterian Church. Cub Scout Pack 829 and Boy Scout Troop 829 each received $750 from the Niagara County Legislature.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced 22-year-old Gabriel Behrens of Niagara Falls, after pleading guilty to a series of crimes occurring in the Falls in 2022 and 2023, was sentenced.

The Niagara County Department of Public Works announced KHEOPS Architecture, Engineering & Survey, DPC, will perform land surveying for a future infrastructure improvement project along Upper Mountain Road, between Lockport Junction Road and Route 31.
