Niagara University's Levesque Institute for Civic Engagement will host the second in its series of community conversations for community-based and faith-based organizations on Thursday, July 18, at 6 p.m. at the Underground Railroad Heritage Center, 825 Depot Ave., Niagara Falls. Free museum tours will be given at 5 p.m., and Classic Soul will cater a light dinner at 5:30 p.m.

America's War for Independence comes alive on July 27 and 28, as Old Fort Niagara hosts the Grand National Encampment of the American Revolution. Eight hundred reenactors will gather at the fort to stage four battle reenactments, artillery duels, 18th century clothing programs, a period hospital and much more.
