The 40th annual Lewiston Harvest & Hops Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29, along portions of Center Street in the Village of Lewiston. This popular event is hosted by the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce and presented by Brickyard Brewing Company and Modern Disposal Services.
The festival began decades ago to highlight local farms and crafters in Lewiston, and has grown into a weekend-long event now with over 150 vendors. Featured participants include artisan crafters and food and beverage tents featuring local wineries, breweries and distilleries. A New York state-designated farmers market will be featured in the middle of the festival at Fifth Street. Live music both days, and open local shops and dining establishments will complement the festival.
Generation Gap will perform on the Brickyard Brewing Company porch from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. The Hot Country Liners will dazzle the crowd again with their line dancing at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Lewiston Wing Walk will take place during the day.

An Electrify Lewiston vendor event showcasing EV opportunities will take place at Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen both days. Farmer Tom Walsh will perform his “Songs from the Farm.” Shenandoah Acres will have a petting zoo for children from noon to 4 p.m.
Dave Stayner will perform on Sunday.

The Lewiston Harvest & Hops Festival traditionally closes out the summer festival season in Lewiston. It is a favorite among local residents and visitors.
Center Street will be closed for this event, from Fourth Street to Seventh Street, from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. There will be no vehicular traffic allowed.

Notice to Center Street businesses & residents
Street closing dates and times for Lewiston Harvest & Hops Festival
Center Street will close, from Fourth Street to Seventh Street, at 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The cross streets at will remain open, both north and south. Center Street will reopen to traffic by 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.
Fifth Street will be closed, from Ridge Street (north) to Plain Street (south), during these same hours. Sixth Street will be closed for traffic at Center Street.
Vendors will be placed on Center Street, from Fourth to Seventh streets. Only permitted vehicles with proper ID will be allowed on Center Street during set-up and takedown.
Business, merchants and service providers are advised to make alternative arrangements for delivery trucks during these hours, as vehicles will not be permitted onto Center Street while it is closed.
