Gallo Restaurants proprietor Michael Hibbard recently closed Gather by Gallo American Eatery for renovations. The restaurant, at 453 Center St., is expected to reopen later this summer.
Architect Jim Fittante said the plan is to make the exterior lighter and brighter – a look similar to the Lewiston Restaurant of yesteryear. Windows, lights, signage and siding will be upgraded.
