Holiday decorations are in place in the Village of Lewiston, with the Department of Public Works hanging colorful Christmas lights and, as pictured, volunteers Tasia and Paul Fitzpatrick and Susan Hofert placing trees and bows at the corner of Center and Fourth streets.

In conjunction with the Dec. 3-5 Christmas Walk weekend, merchants will display a matching plaid bow on their storefronts. Windows and trees will be decorated – and residents are invited to do the same.

Festivities will begin with the tree lighting Friday night at Academy Park. Candy-inspired decorations will adorn the spruce, which will sit atop the Alphonso DiMino Memorial Bandshell.
