Despite the coronavirus causing numerous cancellations throughout the area, the ninth annual O'Riordan St. Patrick's Day Parade took place Saturday on Youngstown's Main Street – much to the delight of the dozens of residents who attended.
The event was presented by the Youngstown Business and Professional Association, which staged an enjoyable family happening in the village.
The St. Patrick’s Day community gathering is presented in memory of the late Neil C. Riordan, the village’s beloved former mayor.
One of its signature attractions is decorated shopping carts, which double as parade “floats.”
