Lewiston Christmas Walk returns for a second weekend

Join Lewiston's small businesses this weekend for more Christmas Walk activities and discounts.

On Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m., Santa will be stationed behind the Little Yellow Artisan House on Center Street.

There will be a petting zoo Saturday in the Country Doctor yard. Angel to Apple will have extended hours and mystery Christmas tree discounts and raffles, while Artzee will have mystery candy cane discounts as well as children's crafts and refreshments. Savory Sips will hold a "crazy eights" promotion with "Santa's pick" of three wines for $8 each. Tour d'Elegance of Niagara and its owners, Sue Torcasio and David Moyer, will provide carriage rides free of charge in front of the Frontier House from noon until 3 p.m.

•Don't forget the holiday festivities going on this weekend in Youngstown with its "Christmas in the Village." The event will take place Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with several activities available at the Youngstown Red Brick School Village Center, 240 Lockport St., and the First Presbyterian Church at the corner of Main and Church streets.

Events include children's crafts, an artisan Christmas market, face painting, carriage rides, live music, a presentation by Old Fort Niagara and much more.
