Fallsview Casino Press Release & Photo
Get ready to rock with the Black Crowes at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Tickets for The Black Crowes go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, through ticketmaster.ca.
The musical impact of the Black Crowes continues to be celebrated with their recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination.
"The Black Crowes bring an amazing stage presence and are known for their unique southern rock sound,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing and resort operations at Fallsview Casino. “Bands like the Black Crowes are a rare find. We can’t wait for them to take the stage for what we expect will be a rock show like no other!”
Fifteen years after their last album of original music, The Black Crowes released “Happiness Bastards” – their 10th studio album. Some may say the project has been several tumultuous years in the making for the Robinson brothers, but it arrives at just the right time.
The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock ’n’ roll. No gloss, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at its very best.
Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they've made a triumphant return to form with over 150 shows spanning 20 countries worldwide, celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Shake Your Money Maker,” the album that put them on the map.
Following the 2019 tour, they knew they needed something new to show for their lost time. With producer Jay Joyce, The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien channeled years of experience into a raw, roots-driven sound. “Happiness Bastards” was released March 15, 2024, and earned The Black Crowes their first Grammy nomination in over three decades for Best Rock Album.
The band was announced as 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee. Next, The Black Crowes and Jimmy Page will release the 25th anniversary edition of “Live From The Greek” on March 14, revisiting their legendary live collaboration with a fresh spotlight on one of rock’s most electrifying pairings.
