Get ready to rock, as music dynamo bands Big Wreck and Thornley are set to arrive on March 7 at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. The showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday Nov. 29, through ticketmaster.ca.

“Big Wreck and Thornley are known for their incredibly energetic performances and unique sound,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing for Niagara Casinos. “This will be one amazing show with two great performances.”

Big Wreck and Thornley, both fronted by Toronto singer/songwriter/guitarist Ian Thornley, have been making their mark with rock anthems.

Big Wreck burst onto the scene in 1997 with its Canadian two-times-Platinum debut album “In Loving Memory Of…” It featured the hit singles, “That Song,” “Blown Wide Open” and “The Oaf.” Following a hiatus from 2002-10, the band returned the following year with the No. 1 single “Albatross” and Platinum-selling album of the same name. Big Wreck has gone on to release a continuous flow of celebrated hit albums and songs including “Ghosts,” “Wolves” and “Full Display.”

Thornley is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its influential debut album, “Come Again.” Originally released in May 2004, “Come Again” swiftly captivated rock enthusiasts with its melodies, robust guitar riffs, and evocative vocals. The album's lead single, "So Far So Good," ascended the charts of rock and alternative radio in North America, is certified Gold, and cemented Thornley's stature in the music realm.
