Tops will further expand its Instacart services to now encompass pickup to round out its New York state offerings. This added convenience will allow shoppers to have their weekly groceries available for pickup at their local Tops store in addition to its home delivery option.
Already in 139 Tops locations throughout its footprint, this added feature will now be available to shoppers at the following seven new Tops locations:

√ 345 Amherst St., Buffalo
√ 1460 S. Park Ave., Buffalo
√ 6363 Transit Road, Depew
√ 6179 NY Route 96, Farmington
√ 2300 N. Triphammer Road, Ithaca
“We’re excited to bring even more convenience to the shoppers across our footprint,” said Jocelyn O’Steen, ecommerce specialist for Northeast Shared Services, who supports Tops main operating company, Northeast Grocery Inc. “This expansion marks our 15th expansion since Tops launched Instacart services in 2017, allowing us to serve further expand our reach.”
Tops announced the same-day home delivery service was available across the chain’s footprint in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, as well as Erie, Pennsylvania, in November of 2017. In 2018 alone, Tops added 44 new stores to the fold. As one of the region’s largest supermarket chains, Tops customers throughout the geographic footprint, whether residing in a larger city or a rural community, now have access to same-day home delivery from Instacart.
Thousands of items including fresh meat, seafood and produce literally are right at shopper’s fingertips and delivered to their doors in as little as one hour. Customers will not only find a vast majority of Tops in-store deals online, but will still find the brands they love, all while earning the gas points they value that they can redeem when they visit Tops fuel stations.
Due to the onset of the pandemic in 2020, Instacart has become an essential service for millions of people in the U.S. and Canada who are depending on the platform to safely, reliably and affordably get the groceries and household goods they need in a contactless manner.
