Historic moment ahead! British singer, songwriter and pop-punk icon Morrissey will play live at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on Tuesday, Nov. 19 (8:30 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, through ticketmaster.ca.
“Morrissey is known for his eccentric style, exuberant confidence and signature vocals,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing, Niagara Casinos. “Between both a renowned music catalog and unique artistic performances, fans will be thrilled to reconnect with such a timeless icon.”
Morrissey's influence and music legacy is irrefutable. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop, as well as one of the greatest lyricists of his generation, Morrissey has 13 solo studio albums, a string of No. 1 records, and an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music British music.
As lead singer of The Smiths, he marked forever the history of music with just four albums. As a soloist, he has consolidated a sound that still reverberates today. His forthcoming album, “Without Music The World Dies,” is an explicit declaration of love for music, making him one of the most acclaimed voices of the past four decades.
