Dinner and dance to benefit the museum and its programs

The Niagara Aerospace Museum is hosting its second annual “Hangar Dance” fundraiser at 9990 Porter Road.

The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, and feature a full barbecue dinner, open bar, live music from the Alex Rene Big Band, raffle baskets, and more.

“This really is one of the most important events on the museum's calendar,” Executive Director Lindsey Lauren Visser said. “Not only is it a fun night for everyone, but the revenue supports our STEAM educational programming and collection upkeep.”

The event is sponsored by Moog Inc. and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

The evening features a 5 p.m. cocktail hour and basket raffles, a 6 p.m. dinner buffet provided by Weidner’s BBQ, and a 7 p.m. performance by the Alex Rene Big Band.

Tickets and more information are available on the museum’s website or through this link: https://niagaraaerospacemuseum.org/2nd-annual-hangar-dance/.

“This event was so popular last year, and we are excited to offer it again,” Board President Don Erwin said. “It is a unique experience, and we love being able to host it surrounded by our historic aircraft.”
