Catholic Health Laboratory Service Centers now part of Highmark BCBS provider network

Catholic Health Laboratory Service Centers are now part of the Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York participating provider network. This means Highmark members throughout the region can now use any of the 19 Catholic Heath Laboratory Centers for blood work and other specimen collections without incurring any additional out-of-network fees.

A press release stated, “For physicians and patients, Catholic Health processes most lab tests locally for quick, convenient test results, often within one day. Patients with Catholic Health MyChart can receive their lab results in the health system’s secure patient portal.

“Catholic Health combines customer-focused lab collection services with state-of-the-art testing equipment for high-quality test results with quick turnaround times. Convenient appointment scheduling is available online through MyChart or by calling 716-862-1150. Same day, walk-in scheduling is also available.”
