Best deal for 'Best 12 Days of Summer': Erie County Fair passes to go on sale

Back by popular request, the Erie County Agricultural Society will offer 12-day gate admission passes for the 183rd Erie County Fair for $60 (plus fees). The sale begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7. The limited supply of passes will be available online only at www.ECFair.org. Passes allow one adult gate admission per day of the Erie County Fair.

The 183rd edition of the Erie County Fair will run Aug. 9-20. Feb. 7 signifies just 183 days out from the “Best 12 Days of Summer.” The 12-day passes must be purchased online at www.ECFair.org. There is a limit of four passes per household.

“The 12-day pass is a valuable, money-saving tool,” said Jessica Underberg, CEO and Erie County Fair manager. “With the purchase of a 12-day pass, it will end up costing less than $6 per day to get into the fair, an incredible value to attend Western New York’s premier event that is fun, clean and family-friendly.”

The Erie County Fair will offer several admission specials at the gates. Kids 12 and under receive free admission to the Erie County Fair every day. On opening day, Wednesday, Aug. 9, when guests bring in four or more cans of food to benefit FeedMore WNY, admission will be free.

In addition, the venue will pay tribute to veterans, active military and firefighters with special days designated for each. Firefighters and auxiliary members will receive free admission on Friday, Aug. 11. Veterans, auxiliary members and active military will receive free admission on Sunday, Aug. 13. Parking will be free in fairgrounds lots every day of the Erie County Fair.
