COVID-19 information line and testing operations closed Memorial Day weekend

The Erie County Department of Health is announcing changes to its existing COVID-19 vaccine clinic schedule. Starting Wednesday, June 1, the COVID-19 vaccine clinic sites at SUNY Erie Community College South in Orchard Park and at the Delavan Grider Community Center in Buffalo will close permanently.

COVID-19 vaccine will continue to be available at the Jesse Nash Health Center, at 608 William St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays – on days the Erie County health clinics are open.

ECDOH maintains an active calendar of “pop-up” clinics with its mobile medical unit, the Live Well Erie Van, and through other community outreach activities. Dates and locations will be posted at www.erie.gov/vax, or call 716-858-2929 for upcoming events. Other community vaccine sites are listed at vaccines.gov.

When COVID-19 vaccine is available for children ages 6 months to 5 years, and for COVID-19 vaccine boosters for ages 5 to 11 years, ECDOH will announce additional COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

ECDOH offers its “Vax Visit” program at no cost to Erie County residents ages 5 years and older. First, second and booster doses are available. Get a COVID-19 vaccine at home by calling 716-858-2929.
