Robert S. West, age 81, of Grand Island, passed away on Oct. 16, 2022. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he died peacefully at Elderwood of Grand Island.
The husband of Nancy Enser-Lesinski West, he is the father of Dharold; Tracy (Gunny Robison) of Quincy, Florida; and Stephen (Alyssa) West of Dalton, Massachusetts; the grandfather of Joshua (Lindsey) West, and Emily and Madelyn West; and great-grandfather of Ariana West.
He is the stepfather of Bonnie (Michael) Marino, David (Vicki Brandon) Lesinski Jr. and Justine (Ronald) Sorri of Grand Island; and step-grandfather of Marisa, Taylor, Michael Marino, Samantha, David Lesinski III, Allison and Jason Sorri, USN.
Robert is a donor in the UB Anatomical Gift Program.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
