Premier 2022 co-chair Dr. Ravinder Devgun, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s chief of anesthesiology, recently presented a check for $120,000 to Chief of Diagnostic Imaging Dr. Mark D. Perry. The funds were raised by the many sponsors and over 500 attendees at Memorial’s 2022 Premier gala, which was held at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on April 30 and honored Chief of Infectious Disease Dr. Rajinder Bajwa, and Russell J. Salvatore.

Proceeds will support Memorial’s campaign to acquire a new 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit, to be housed on the medical center’s 10th Street campus.

A press release said, “The MRI Imaging Center of Niagara will provide patients across the region with access to higher-quality scans, faster diagnosis, and early detection of cancers and other diseases at treatable stages.”

In addition to Devgun, the event was also co-chaired by her husband, Sukhmender S. Saran, plus Bishop Darius G. Pridgen and Pastor Craig D. Pridgen.
