Crews from Alden-based Concrete Applied Technologies Corp. began the next phase of Center Street’s renovation on Monday. Milling, corner cuts and paving will take place over the next two weeks.

At Monday’s Village of Lewiston work session, Mayor Anne Welch reiterated the roadway will remain open to motorists. However, lane changes and temporary no-parking zones are expected.

This resurfacing project is funded by and under the supervision of the New York State Department of Transportation. NYSDOT also will replace street signs and light poles.
