The Rich Entertainment Group (REG) and Buffalo Waterfront Management Group (BWMG) announce Long Island-born American rock band Taking Back Sunday will play the “Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series” at the Lakeside Event Lawn, presented by the Upstate Honda Dealers, on July 10 show. Special guests Hot Rod Circuit and Buffalo’s own Super American will join the band. Gates open at 4 p.m.
If you can't believe that Taking Back Sunday have been around for 20 years, you're not alone, because they can't either. Vocalist Adam Lazzara, guitarist-vocalist John Nolan, drummer Mark O'Connell and bassist Shaun Cooper are beginning work on their eighth studio album. From the band's landmark 2002 debut, “Tell All Your Friends,” to their most recent full-length, 2016's “Tidal Wave,” Taking Back Sunday have evolved from a key player in the early 2000’s emo scene to a genre-defying rock band who have three Gold albums without ever ceasing to push the limitations of their sound.
"Buffalo is in store for an exciting summer of entertainment, and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is proud to be a part of it," said Marc Papaj, assistant general manager, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino. "From the Outer Harbor to our gaming and entertainment resort and throughout downtown, the atmosphere is going to be electric. Summer can't get here soon enough."
Presale tickets are available starting 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, for Seneca Gaming club members with access code. General on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1. General admission tickets are $24 (plus fees) and VIP tickets are $49 (plus fees). VIP tickets allow ticketholder access to the Honda VIP tent, preferred viewing area, and two complimentary drinks. All tickets are available at www.buffalowaterfront.com/concerts.
Taking Back Sunday joins previously announced T-Pain in the lineup, with more shows to be announced. For the latest updates, or to purchase tickets to all “Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series” shows, visit Buffalo Waterfront’s website and social media channels.
